If you are going to register a
domain, I highly recommend that you stick to
.com domains. Domains that end in .com are
considered more trustworthy and professional to
most internet uses. Domains such as .net and
.info are also okay - especially .info if you
are putting up a review website - but keep away
from most other domain suffixes.

1. Go to www.Namecheap.com and login with
your username and password
2. Select "Manage Domains" from the top menu toolbar
3. Select the domain name you want to redirect to your Clickbank affiliate
hoplink
4. Select "URL Forwarding" from the left-hand menu
5. In the "Forward URL" field type in your hoplink (e.g.
http://xxxxx.license1.hop.clickbank.net)
6. In the "Redirect Type" field make sure 'URL Redirect' is selected
7. Click on the "Save Change" button
8. Make sure the redirect is working by opening up a web browser and going to
your new domain name. You should find that it now redirects to your affiliate
link!
Free Short URL Service - TinyURL.com
If you want to simplify your affiliate link but don't want to register a domain,
you can use a great free service call TinyURL. Its found at
www.tinyurl.com
With TinyURL you'll get a totally free short URL that never expires. It will
look something like this:
It is not as appealing as a proper domain name and, therefore, won't convert as
well but is better looking than the Clickbank hoplink - in my opinion :)
Articles are a great way to freely advertise your website and earn huge
commission checks. There are some full-time internet marketers that use articles
alone.
Why is article marketing so popular? Because it is extremely effective. Here's
how it works:
There are online article directories (e.g. ezinearticles.com) that allow you to
submit articles for free. These articles are then available to the public to
use. Many thousands of website owners that have a need for new, fresh content
check the article directories daily and if they like your article they will
place in on their site or in their newsletters, etc.
How does it help you? Great question... at the conclusion of your article you
write a simple line like this, "Would you like to learn more? Visit our website:

email address, you could keep in contact with them and encourage them to make
purchases in the future.

is a free service that's great to use if you have a blog. What it
does is allow your visitors to opt into an email list which will automatically
notify them whenever you add new content.
Let's say you have a blog and you post to regularly. Visitors who like your blog
will much rather be notified whenever you post new content rather than having to
guess. They will readily sign up to your FeedBurner notification list.
This will greatly increase the visitors to your site because your previous
visitors will know exactly when you have posted a new entry and they will even
know what it is about. Because they liked your blog they'll come back to have a
read of your new content. So now you no longer have your steady stream of new
visitors, you'll also have a growing stream of repeat visitors who will become
your loyal supporters.
As mentioned above, because you are contacting your list on a regular basis,
they come to know you and trust you and are, therefore, more likely to buy what
you recommend.
Social bookmarking is a GREAT way to get
free traffic to your affiliate website.
What is 'social bookmarking'? You may already be
a member of popular social websites like
Digg. Within your account you can setup
favorites or links (called 'bookmarks') to news
or articles that interest you. This is social
bookmarking. The more people that bookmark a
webpage, the more traffic it will get.
How do you take advantage of social bookmarking
